Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about TeaKettles!

Bio: TeaKettles is a gentle boy who prefers a relaxing night in. He's not very social, only spending time with his best friend, Controllers, and his neighbor, ConversationHeartz, who he may or may not have a crush on. He bakes the best cookies you'd ever taste and is generally just a cool guy to be around.

Short Story
TeaKettles sat alone in his room, sipping a warm mug of tea. He was staring at his phone, having nothing else to do. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the front door. He opened it to see the smiling face of a fluffy pink goat holding a box of donuts.
He let the goat inside, somehow unable to stop staring at her. She didn't seem to care that he was staring, handing him a glazed donut.
"I'm ConversationHeartz, I just moved in next door." She beamed. Tea felt that it was love at first sight, but he decided not to say so as he accepted the pastry.
"Uh- hi. I'm TeaKettles."
From then on, him and Conversation were incredibly close friends, and did everything together. And Tea is still too much of a coward to admit anything.

Welcome to Studio Blu!
A monthly prompt event based in the official Goatlings.com Discord server!

How it works!
At the beginning of each month, a Discord moderator will post an inspirational theme. Members wishing to participate can draw or write a short story or poem about a Goatling using the theme as a guide!

Prizes!
At the end of the month, two entries will be randomly selected to be featured on the site News and the members will receive a special in-game trophy!

The Studio Blu prompt for November was: Celebration! And the winners are:

RoyalDuchess paced around her room, restless. She was forgetting something, but she couldn’t put her hoof on it. What was important about today? She was sure she had done almost everything she needed to do today. The only thing left to do was talk to Masque and open her mail. Suddenly, her magic Cobra Mirror lit up.
That was good. Maybe Masque knew.
She picked up the mirror with her hooves and placed it in front of her, gazing into her reflection. It slowly flickered, replacing her form with a Queens Rabbit goat. Duchess nodded at the goat in the mirror.
“Hello, Masque. I was hoping you could remind me what is so important about today.”
Masque smiled, leaning to the side to reveal a Pretty Country goat standing next to them. The two goats screamed, “Happy birthday!”
Oh. That was what Duchess had been forgetting. Her own birthday!
The Pretty Country goat, Roads, leaned forward. “We sent you a gift. Hopefully you got it!”
Duchess glanced around, eyes falling on her pile of mail. A box wrapped with a green ribbon was placed on the table next to her letters. Duchess walked and picked it up, placing it in sight of the mirror. She carefully untied the ribbon and opened the box, pulling the items out.
The first thing she unpacked was a bundle of Roads’ signature Hoofprint Cookies, followed by a golden Pocket Watch from Masque. A small piece of paper separated these two gifts from the rest of the contents of the box, which must have been from the rest of the goats from the village. It was mostly filled with trinkets; strange coins, some crystals, a necklace with a moon charm, and a postcard with a picture of the beach on it, to name a few. As Duchess continued to unpack the box, the final gift she pulled out was an all-too-familiar Maple Candle.
Duchess placed the candle next to her other gifts, taking a deep breath as she did so. She smiled at Masque and Roads, taking a bite out of one of the cookies. “Make sure to tell everyone thank you so much for all the gifts!”
