Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.
Items that will be Auctioned each week:
+ 2 exclusive Appearance Dolls (Rockabilly and Velvet Rose)
+ Exclusive Gavel Display Name Icon
+ Exclusive Auction Badge
+ One rare baddy stamp. Stamps in rotation are;
Tiangou Stamp, Fire Rooster Stamp, Thoth Stamp, Masked Rival Stamp, Ethos Stamp, Luck Dragon Stamp, Queen Snake Stamp, and Apostrophe Stamp.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently silenced.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

We are so exited to announce that our first Goalings fundraiser has been fully funded - before we could even post the announcement in the News!
This fundraiser will go towards adding a Team Signup feature to the site and will include:
+ Page for choosing a Team. Simply click one button to be signed up for the Team of your choice!
+ A Team tag will be displayed automatically below the members name on the forums and upcoming Bulletin Boards.
+ Admins will be able to set Teams up, and remove them at the end of the event.
+ Admins will also be able to remove selected members if necessary.
This will make signing up for Team events much easier. Not just for Monster Masquerade, but for our other special events as well! It will also be easier on the staff to check Teams while distributing event prizes. (No more spreadsheets!) Members who do not have access to the Forums will be able to sign up for Team events using this new feature as well!

A quick explanation of Bulletin Boards
Bulletin Boards will be used during events for games and reward distribution. Members will be able to submit event entries to Bulletin Boards as well as participate in event games. Their entry will remain hidden until a staff member accepts the entry. Only one entry per board can be accepted. The post will then become public and the member will automatically receive an item reward for their entry. Members who cannot use the forums may be able to access Bulletin Boards as well. Details subject to change as this feature is still being planned out.
Again, we are unbelievably grateful for this show of support and we will get started on the Team Sign Up feature asap! Just in time for Monster Masquerade sign ups!
More About Goalings
When the need arises, a new goal will start to help fund an exiting new feature for the site. Each goal will open for a set time, or until it is fully, or close to being fully funded. If a goal is over-funded within the time limit, anything leftover will be added into bonus programming and/or be added into regular site funds for general expenses.
Donations are limited to increments of $5, $10, $20 or $30. Item rewards are given for every $5 and will be sent to the member's inventory automatically. Item rewards will typically end at an accumulation of $30. (After testing, this may be adjusted.) As an example, if a member donates $10 they will instantly receive all items from $1 to $10. If they donate another $5 at a later date, they will receive all items from $11-$15. Members may still donate more than $30 but they will not receive item rewards.

Members can now vote for their favorite pair of Goatlings to become the next Monster Masquerade Team Mascots!
Vote by clicking the 'like' button next to your favorite pair of Goatling designs! Choose wisely because you can't take back your vote. Please only vote 1-2 times. (Top choice or top two choices) In the case of a tie, Goatlings.com staff will cast their votes to determine the winner.
Voting will be open until about Sep 16th. Give or take a day due to time-zones.

About Monster Masquerade
It's that time of year when Baddies seem to cause the most mischief! The residents of the Goatlings Kingdom are masquerading as Baddies to trick and confuse other Baddies into leaving the town in peace.
Monster Masquerade is a big event held in October where members can join one of two Teams and participate in activities to earn prizes and points! The Teams are based on spooky Goatling mascots and the prizes are themed around all things Fall, creepy, and monstrous! The Team with the most points at the end of the event wins a bonus prize! A special fusion of both mascots! Some prizes and events are also available for members who are not on a Team and/or do not have access to the forums.

Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about PorkyMinch!
 | Name: PorkyMinch Appearance Doll: Dino Kid AD Guardian: @CobaltBones Give Love! Bio: Porky Minch is a very immature and childish kid, who can be quite obnoxious, selfish and egotistical. He is naturally mischievous and can usually be found pulling pranks and running off somewhere he shouldn't. Some of his antics can be quite malicious, often endangering himself and others in doing them. Despite his tough guy act, he's actually quite cowardly and will hide behind his "bestest friend" if any real trouble arises. The only other goat that Porky seems to like is his little brother, who is unfortunately usually immitating him in some way or another. |

The first hints of Fall are being felt around the Goatlings Kingdom, such as the occasional chill in the air...
Cold Frisson and Minions have come to the Battle Center and are ready to challenge your Goatlings to a friendly battle. Train your Goatlings and collect limited edition loot!
Don't forget to save a couple stamps for your collection! If you're really lucky you may win a few Goat Tokens to use on the seasonal Token Game! (Fall Token Game arriving in about a week or two.)
Cold Frisson and Minions will stick around until about September 30th. After that they will leave us until next year and their limited edition loot will retire. (Excluding stamps and Goat Tokens.)
