Summer Night Carnival - Week 08 (Final) Raffle - ENTER NOW!Posted by

Greetings Carnival Goers!
Enter to win big in the weekly raffles!
Raffles begin on the first day of the week (Sunday) and end on the last day of the week (Saturday). Participants receive one Carnival Ticket for entering the raffle, for a Total of 8 Tickets if every Raffle is entered. The fee to enter each Raffle is 1,000 Sugar Stars.
25 Members a week will win 25 Carnival Tickets each!
New Raffles will be announced in the News. Raffle winners will receive a Notification from the News post that announces the winners, however they will not receive an additional Notification when they receive their winnings.

Choose wisely because you can't take back your vote. Please only vote 1-3 times. Kelisco is pretty shy, they try their best to be more social but sometimes it’s really hard for them. One day though, they met a nice goat named Krokos, and she helped them a lot with getting out of their shell. Now, Kelisco and Krokos go out and do almost everything together, Kelisco loves their goatmate with all their heart and would do anything for her.

Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.
Items that will be Auctioned each week:

- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently silenced.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

Greetings Carnival Goers!
Face Painting Round 4 is now open! Help these Goatlings have fun at the carnival by painting their faces with the requested theme! A new round with new themes will start every two weeks and will stay open until the end of the event (August 31st) so there will be plenty of time to participate!
Example:
Round 1 starts in Week 01 on July 07th = Open - CLICK HERE to enter!

Greetings Fanlings!
Today we have exciting news about an upcoming feature!
First, regarding advertisements for the site, the ad company did not approve of our inquiry. Frankly we are relieved, as we have not been able to fully make peace with the idea of adding advertisements to the site. For years we've prided ourselves on being an add free website, and we'd hate to change that now. So officially; we are still an ad free site and will remain so for as long as possible!
However, there is still the issue of funding larger site projects faster to meet the demand of a growing community. After consulting more members and staff, we have settled on an alternative that we feel much better about!
The idea is to create a mini on-site crowdfunding feature to help fund specific programming update goals when needed - while at the same time offering exclusive goodies to members who are able to lend a hand! It's 100% optional and an alternative to invasive ads!
Regular site funds will still be used for the behind-the-scenes stuff - such as Admin features, bug fixes, code upgrades, security, taxes, staff wages, host fees, personal living expenses, etc. The Goatlings Patreon will remain active and unchanged as well, as requested by our current Patrons.

As of now, some of the possible features to be funded over time includes the following:
+ Easier Team sign ups for events
+ Easier event entry area with faster reward pickup
(will allow members who can't use the forums to participate in more special events too!)
+ Poll feature added to the News
(will allow members who can't use the forums to vote on designs too)
+ Save HA Buddy Outfits
+ Goatling Trade Center
+ Stock Archive for each shop
+ Daily sign in gift and/or Daily Achievements
+ Dynamic member shop value added to items
+ Simple site layouts members can choose from
+ And more!
+ In the future, this crowdfunding feature will also be used for charity events, new Goatlings merch such as Enamel Pins, Plushies, and to help fund more Arcade games!

How will it work? And what's this about rewards?
When the need arises, a new goal will open to help fund something the regular funds cannot quite cover. Each goal will open for a limited time, or until it is either fully or close to being funded. If a goal is over funded within its time limit, anything leftover will be added into regular site funds.
Reward Tiers will be every $5 But donations are limited to $5, $10, $20 and $30 chunks!
So at $30 you'll be at Tier 6, and at Tier 6 there will be a bare min of 6 rewards and a max of 30!
So for example, if a member donates $5 they will instantly receive all items from $1 to $5. If they donate another $10 at a later date, they will receive all items from $6-$15. Below is a loose example of how the tiers and rewards might look:
(Tier 02)
$ 10 = Exclusive RAD
$ 9 = Exclusive RAD
$ 8 = Exclusive HA Buddy Item
$ 7 = Exclusive HA Buddy Item
$ 6 = Exclusive HA Buddy Item
(Tier 01)
$ 5 = Exclusive Goatling
$ 4 = Exclusive Goatling
$ 3 = Goat Token or other small item
$ 2 = Goat Token or other small item
$ 1 = Goat Token or other small item
