Goatling design submissions for the RPG Classics Thief/Rogue and Birthday Aquamarine/Daffodil Double Event are now open! Entries will be accepted until March 23rd.

Contest Details
- New double event will start each month for the whole year of 2015
- About 3 weeks for designing/entering, 1 Day for judging, 1 week for member voting
- Okay to submit multiple designs (add them to the same reply)
- Okay to submit designs in both contests at once
- 9 designs per month (per theme) will be chosen for a member vote
- The most popular design will be made into an official Goatling
- Vote for up to 3 designs per month per theme
- Members are not allowed to enter either contest if they won during the previous month

Goatling Design Guidelines
- Click Here to get templates.
- Do not alter the pose of original template.
- Try to keep the Goatling looking like a goat. For example, don't change it into a sheep or ram.
- We'd prefer if members did not add extra limbs/horns as they can be hard to make out at a small size.
- Don't overcomplicated things. Keep designs sweet and simple.
- Don't create something gory - no exposed bones, organs, blood, sinew, etc
- Goatling's hairstyles are typically short.
- Please note: Normally the design is redrawn by our official art team so it fits in with our style. Sometimes the design will be changed, altered, or simplified in the process. Nothing drastic. Examples of changes are: enlarging details so they can be seen easier, simplifying cluttered details, color balancing, reverting altered templates.
+ First Place - Free AD of their design - 20 Goat Tokens
All First Place designs will be permanently added to the AD Shop.
+ Runner Up - 10 Goat Tokens
+ Honorable Mention - 5 Goat Tokens
+ All participants will receive a special gift inspired by the winning entry.
Last months winnings were @lostlx and @Rainywren and their Goatling designs will be available within the next few days!

Greetings fanlings! The new Live Chat is now ready to be a permanent part of the site! It is now linked on the Forums page and is replacing the old Live Chat.

Thank you everyone for testing out the new Live Chat! After a couple adjustments things ran very smoothly! We had a lot of fun!

Gemdrops are special items that will raise your Goatlings level, strength, defense, or speed (which is obsolete after the 2013 site revamp).
There has been a few problems with the Level Gemdrop not performing as it should. As a result some Goatlings stats were unevenly distributed after using a Level Gemdrop. The Goatlings team have done all we could to fix this item however, we are concerned this item might still be an issue.
So in response we have retired all Gemdrops. They can still be used, but please be aware the Level Gemdrop may still affect your Goatling strangely.
Goat Princess Stat Quests will be replacing the function of Gemdrops. Her quests will reward your ACTIVE Goatling extra hitpoints, defense, or strength at random. A stat quest can be performed every 12 hours. Stat Quest items are found in the Goat Princess Shop. Stat Quests can also be used to re-balance Goatlings that were affected by Level Gemdrops.
Members are welcome to keep and use their Level Gemdrops, but as an extra precaution, we are doing a non-mandatory recall for them.
If you would like to help in the Level Gemdrop cleanup, please do one of the following:
+ Put your Level Gemdrops in a trade and Goatlings Staff will offer Stat Quests items in return. (Notify Krisgoat by Goatmail or ping in this thread too)
+ Put your Level Gemdrops in your store for 2,000,000 Sugar Stars or less and Goatlings Staff will buy them.
+ Pawn your Level Gemdrops
+ Send your Level Gemdrops to Krisgoat
