Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Kataluna!

Short Story
Kataluna was once a simple goatling, who explored abandoned places with her ghost hunting friend. This all changed, once they dared to explore Goatling Kingdom's, famous Abandoned Mansion. Its fame is due to said spiritual hauntings of many object, including a certain portrait. Unaware of how the portrait tends to play, they continue to explore the mansion. Suddenly they noticed the portrait on the wall, begins to glow eerily. Out hops the ghostly goatling Haunted Portrait, from their picture frame. Haunted portrait gives them a wide grin and brings out a witch looking appearance doll. Both young goatlings stand frozen in fear. Before either goatling could think to move. Haunted Portrait throws the appearance doll at Kataluna. A blinding light then fills the room, but quickly fades out. When Kataluna regains her vision, she realize she no longer looks the same. What was once a simple looking goatling, has now been replaced with to spooky cat witch, with ghost cats shadowing her ever move. Kataluna's life has now been changed, whether it's for the better or for the worse. Well, that's up for her to decided.

Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.
Items that will be Auctioned each week:
+ 2 exclusive Appearance Dolls (Rockabilly and Velvet Rose)
+ Exclusive Gavel Display Name Icon
+ Exclusive Auction Badge
+ One rare baddy stamp. Stamps in rotation are;
Lucky Stamp, Tiangou Stamp, Fire Rooster Stamp, Thoth Stamp, Masked Rival Stamp, Ethos Stamp, Luck Dragon Stamp, Queen Snake Stamp, and Apostrophe Stamp.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently banned from Goat Mail and Forums.

It's been a very exciting and memorable Monster Masquerade! It seems like the end of the month just snuck up on us like a ghost! But time always flies when you're having fun! This announcement is to remind all Monster Masquerade Team members that the main events will be closing when it is no longer Wednesday the 28th anywhere in the world. CLICK HERE to view a live world clock. Bonus events will remain open until Oct 31st.

Short Story
Exiled from his old home, Mafil had spent days on end to find a new abode, stumbling upon the land of Goatlings around the time of Halloween. He seemed to fit right in, with goats of all ages dressing up for the event. He smiles, seeing as this would be his chance to make friends, and maybe even a home to call his own. While wandering the kingdom, he stumbles upon a young goat, dressed in a cute ghost costume, bleeting softly as they stick close to two other goats, one wearing a witch costume, the other wearing a vampire costume. The vampire notices Mafil standing there, and approaches him, introducing himself as Kramoth, with Pipin and Shinoka, then offering him to tag along. Hesitiantly, he nods, joining his new family.
