Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Niyol!
 | Name: Niyol Appearance Doll: Wispling AD Guardian: @Snow Give Love! Bio: Niyol is a strong, dependable goat. Despite him being ethereal, he maintains a charismatic, well spoken personality. Often at times, he can seem disconnected from the world and occasionally will need the assistance of a friend to pull him back to reality. Not that it is extremely difficult mind you. Every now and then, Niyol needs someone to confine in. While he seems calm and collected, internally, he needs advice to help him see from all matters of perspective. Niyol does not like making choices made by naive thinking. Hence seeking guidance from others who deem appropriate. Consequently, Niyol takes a while to process personal opinions, unless already previously thought about upon given a question. This tends to lead to him being the subject of giving his own advice. Who not better to ask than one who has asked all the questions for you? |

Niyol was my first ever goat that I used for battle against the baddies in the battle center. After a while, I decided to dedicate Niyol to be my fighter from there on out. That's why he's my most trustworthy and loyal goatling.

 | Name: Calliou Appearance Doll: Midnight Moon AD Guardian: @Pandorascaisse Give Love! Bio: Calliou is a warrior through and through. She lives on the outskirts of town, though she isn't unfriendly. The reason for her semi-isolation is her goal in life; to become the best of the best warriors and to someday succeed her idol. When she was very young, Calliou witnessed an event that shaped her life; seeing the Frost Guardian in all his glory set her on a path of dedication, hard work, and determination. She stands up for all the creatures of the wilds, and Palace Town too. Justice and protection is what she strives for. |

Short Story
Calliou has never wanted to be anything except a warrior. When she was young, she witnessed an event she would never forget - a giant stag, as white as the moon with silver horns that shimmered in kind. The stag stood atop a tall hill some distance away; she could only imagine the size of it. It was then and there where the hind called to its kin below the full moon, and the whole world seemed at peace.
The event has never been repeated and no record of it exists, but Calliou knows what she saw was real. The Lunar Stag, whom she would later come to meet as the Frost Guardian, was an inspiration to her, and she spends each and every day training tirelessly so that she may one day follow in the footsteps of the cervine guardian and keep all of Palace Town safe as he did for his herds.
