Welcome to the forth and final week of eerie events! Each Team has competed magnificently so far! Team Straw Doll is currently in the lead with 10,287 points, and Team Jack O Lantern is closely behind at 9,847 points! (Giving Tree Wars points not added yet.) It can still be anyone's game! Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Argiope!
 | Name: Argiope Appearance Doll: Candy Corn Cutie AD Guardian: @Vinegar Give Love! Bio: Argiope (ar-gee-oh-pee) was the first goat I ever adopted on this site; her AD was a gift to me, which kickstarted my appreciation for the community. I joined Goatlings in November so I unfortunately missed out on all the Halloween hubbub. Fall/Autumn is my favorite time of the year, so Argiope is an homage to the best season of them all! Someday she’ll be able to celebrate in style. Side note: all of my goats are named after interesting spiders. Argiope's name is derived from the genus of my favorite spider of all, Argiope aurantia. |

Short Story
There are two things in this world that Argiope loves above all else: candy... and pumpkins. Luckily for her, candy is plentiful all year-round, commonly traded among Goatlings and brought to various celebrations. This candy corn adorned goat is an unparalleled sweet tooth, always munching on anything with some semblance of sugar within her reach. Her horns are luckily just for show, though they still earn curious side-eyes from unfamiliar goats.
On the other hand, not many other goats seem to be as fond of pumpkins as Argiope is. To her dismay, pumpkin spicing treats, roasting pumpkin seeds, and carving jack-o-lanterns are all past-times normally saved for the cooling harvest months. Argiope is a gourd hobbyist to the max, tending to her gardens with great care and always trying to pass off pumpkin pie at parties, no matter the season. If you'd raise a mug of PSL with her, she'd be pleased as punch.

Welcome to the second annual Monster Masquerade event!
Event period: Oct 1st-31st
The Haunted Portrait Goatling is on a mission to settle a dispute between two friends. Both Jack O Lantern and Straw Doll think they can throw the best Monster Masquerade party.
To settle things once and for all, they are holding a friendly team driven competition. Team members will endure terrifying trials of artistic ability, written skills, baking, crafting, generosity, and a little luck! There is something for everyone but participants must be officially registered on a Team in order for their contributions to be counted! Whose Monster Masquerade party will you attend?

Team registration is OPEN NOW and spaces are limited!
This sign up window will be open until 50 new members sign up, or after about 24 hours. Whatever comes first.
To sign up, simply post that you want to join on the appropriate registration thread below. Members can't switch teams once officially registered so choose wisely!
+ Members who have registered on a team are not allowed to change their username for the duration of the event. (If your name changes from your original team sign up name then we won't be able to record your points or send you prizes.)
+ Members are not allowed to use multiple accounts to take more than one team slot and/or gain extra prizes.
